RELATIONSHIP

  This word is a mystery. If we start to dig deep into it,we will never stop because its one unending topic and like I said its a big mystery. Relationships can either make or mar a person's life. Relationship is a very vital foundation for anything to see the lime light. So many people have made it in life through relationships so as a lot of people also have been destroyed due to the kind of relationships they engage themselves in. One funny thing I've also discovered from relationships is that it all started from two people decisions but once something goes wrong or those two people are engaged wrongly, someone else who isn't even involved has to pay the price. There is so much mystery behind this word. So many people engage themselves in different kind of relationships carnally. In fact going into any kind of relationship should be one of the most well thought over issue in our lives. Name it, any kind of relationship it might be. There is nothing like small relationship, relationship is relationship no matter how close or how far apart you are to one another. Even if the person is just 'a hi, hello friend' and it is only when you see eachother, its still a relationship because that person is one way or the other still part of your life and everything in your life is important to take note of if you are living purposefully. Relationship! Relationship! Relationship! It is something that needs to be established for the coming out of any man. There is nothing like I want to do it all alone, it is impossible. You can say impossibility is a lie but the truth is even if you claim to be doing it all by yourself;the materials in which you used along the process to obtain your product 'how did you come about it? Didn't you buy it from someone? Isn't it someone that made those materials? The so called wisdom and ideas you think you have 'do you think it is by your mere research or thinking? If GOD doesn't give you ideas and the wisdom to apply them, you won't even be able to be talk of anything like ' I can do it all alone'. There are different kinds of relationship which are contract, romantic, voluntary,spiritual and so on. I'm going to be more focused on romantic relationship. Romantic relationship from my view is the coming or joining together of two parties (male and female) from different or same backgrounds with the purpose of being loved by each other satisfying each other's sexual needs and wants. Also, I feel romantic relationships shouldn't just be about romance and sexual wants or needs but should also involve checking on each other's welfare, contributing to each other's growth, adding value to each other's life and being each other's best friend. Honestly,most of the teenagers and youths who are involved in romantic relationships only wants to satisfy their sexual wants. They lack what is called self control and it is only the holyspirit that can give such. Self control and discipline is a very important tool in a youth's life because funny enough most of them are not ready or should I say don't have what it takes to be in a romantic relationship. Though a romantic relationship is a period of childishness but its a stage for mature minds. I'm sorry to say this but most of our parents and elders are yet to recover from the so called wrong engagement with the wrong partner. You know they say love is blind but the thing is most of these our predecessors, its not only the fact that they were or not in love but the capacity of the knowledge they could acquire at that point in time. Most of them just entered into the marriage without even knowing much about themselves. Yes, you can't know a person fully until you live with them and you even living with them doesn't guarantee you knowing the person fully but most of them after being proposed to and just because of the frequent and consistent checking up and meeting with each other which then leads to butterflies in the stomach thinking it is love, but the truth is its normal to feel this way in the beginning because every human wants to love and feel loved. So after this few weeks of butterflies,the next thing is marriage and so they meet the real 'YOU and ME' in marriage. There is a huge difference between wedding and marriage. Wedding according to my knowledge is the period of ceremony of laughter and happiness that you are being joined to the person you claim love exists between. While marriage is where the real and true person begins to reveal. Anyway this topic is a very complex and mysterious one which even I don't yet have the key to devour completely, the mystery behind it is only fully revealed to GOD. So what most youths do now is they see someone they admire and start telling the person 'I LOVE YOU' when they've not even started anything nor gone through the true love test. Saying 'I LOVE YOU' is not a mere statement which should be said anyhow. However, they get into a romantic relationship and satisfy their sexual wants which shouldn't be done if you aren't married. Like I wrote earlier it takes only a mature mind to be in a romantic relationship. Don't go into something that you won't be able or aren't ready to handle the consequences when it comes to your face. Most youths just want to have fun and pleasure. Yes, very very good,fun and pleasure is a wonderful thing to experience but at the right time. Doing the right thing at the wrong time is disorderliness. You know I marvel when a young boy or youth tells me 'I LOVE YOU'. What do you know about love? If you understand the true meaning of this word, you won't even say that to me. When a girl also is like 'wow he told me he loves me and he has tried enough, always calling me, coming to check on me and all of that so I guess I'm going to give in now' and some other girls might even be like ' If I don't give in now he will give up and go to someone else'. The truth is he is not trying at all, he is only trying to get what he is after and will do anything to get it, that's why its like he is trying and for the girl who is like he will go somewhere else' If he is the right one he will stay'. Teenagers and youths, its not advisable for you to go into romantic relationships if you aren't ready for marriage. This stage of your life is the time to focus more on discovering your purpose and driving zealously with that picture with the aid of the holy spirit. Your youth period is the best time to water yourself very well because you are like a plant which is yet to bear friuts. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire(Matthew 3:10). This is the time you can train and teach yourself the basics effectively without distractions if only you drive zealously with the picture shown to you by the holyspirit. There are lots of distractions out there especially for youths and young ones. So we seriously need the help of the holy spirit to guide us. Being in a romantic relationship at a tender age when you aren't ready for marriage only makes you vulnerable to things you might not be mature enough to handle. Yes, being in love is a very beautiful thing a human can experience but more sweeter when it is at the right time because you wouldn't have to be hidden about it and can have all the fun you want. Even if I continue with this topic from now to tomorrow, the ending will never come because its a topic that brings about a lot of arguments in which we will never see the end. It's a very broad and mysterious topic. The most important thing is for you to know your purpose, set your goals and drive with it. Fill your mind and thoughts with the most important thing which is fulfilling your purpose then you wouldn't even have the time to think of getting into one. Of course, temptations will come but with the help of the holy spirit you will overcome it.
